Both machine tool manufacturers and machine tool users should attach importance to controlling humidity in the workshop. Generally speaking, relative humidity should not exceed 80%, which is suitable for machine tools. But some high-precision machine tool manufacturers also keep the humidity constant at around 60%.

Thirdly, air quality. Yes, you are not mistaken. The machining center should pay attention to air quality both in production and during use. This air quality includes not only the humidity mentioned earlier, but also "harmful gases" and "inhalable particulate matter.". Harmful gases to machine tools are generally corrosive gases, which can have adverse effects on the machine tool and its internal precision components, reduce the service life of the components, and affect the normal operation of the machine tool. Inhalable particulate matter generally refers to dust. Excessive dust is not only unhygienic, but also increases the risk of circuit board short circuits.
