Environmental requirements for CNC lathes
Nov 03, 2023
CNC lathe adopts CNC programming technology on the basis of ordinary lathe, making equipment operation more convenient. The use of CNC lathes is regulated in terms of environmental requirements, power supply requirements, temperature conditions, and usage specifications.
The normal use of CNC lathe equipment must meet the following conditions: the power voltage fluctuation at the position of the machine tool is small, the ambient temperature is below 30 degrees Celsius, and the relative temperature is less than 80%.
1, Environmental requirements
The position of the machine tool should be away from the vibration source, avoid direct sunlight, thermal radiation, and avoid the influence of moisture and airflow. If there is a vibration source near the machine tool, anti vibration grooves should be set up around the machine tool. Otherwise, it will directly affect the machining accuracy and stability of the machine tool, resulting in poor contact of electronic components, failure, and affecting the reliability of the machine tool.
2, Power requirements
Generally, CNC lathes are installed in machining workshops, which not only have large environmental temperature changes and poor operating conditions, but also have a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment, resulting in significant fluctuations in the power grid. Therefore, the installation position of the CNC lathe requires strict control of the power supply voltage. The fluctuation of power supply voltage must be within the allowable range and remain relatively stable. Otherwise, it will affect the normal operation of the CNC system.
3, Temperature conditions
The ambient temperature of a CNC lathe is below 30 ℃, and the relative temperature is less than 80%. Generally speaking, the CNC control box is equipped with an exhaust fan or a cooling fan inside to maintain the working temperature of electronic components, especially the central processing unit, constant or with minimal temperature difference changes. Excessive temperature and humidity will lead to a decrease in the lifespan of control system components and an increase in malfunctions. The increase in temperature and humidity, as well as the increase in dust, can cause bonding on integrated circuit boards and lead to short circuits.
4, Standardize the use of machine tools
Users should be careful not to arbitrarily change the parameters set by the manufacturer in the control system when using the machine tool. The setting of these parameters is directly related to the dynamic characteristics of various components of the machine tool. Only the gap compensation parameter values can be adjusted according to the actual situation. Users are not allowed to replace machine tool accessories at will, such as using hydraulic chucks that exceed the instructions. When setting attachments, the manufacturing plant fully considers the matching of parameters in each link. Blind replacement leads to mismatched parameters in various links, and even causes accidents that cannot be estimated. The pressure of hydraulic chuck, hydraulic tool holder, hydraulic tailstock, and hydraulic cylinder should be within the allowable stress range and should not be arbitrarily increased.
