The spindle of the horizontal machining center is installed horizontally and can control four axes (X, Y, Z, and B axes), in addition to the B axis used for rotating the worktable. Its advantage is that workpieces installed on all four sides can be processed in one go. The horizontal direction of the B-axis is also beneficial for chip removal and reduces the risk of damage to the workpiece surface.
