Differences between fully closed-loop and semi closed-loop control systems
In order to measure the linear feed motion, a linear displacement sensor is installed along the direction of the guide rail movement in the fully closed loop system, which directly measures the displacement of the workbench; The semi closed loop system installs an angular displacement sensor at the end of the ball screw to measure its angular displacement. Obviously, the value of the sensor's angular displacement cannot reflect the stroke error and deformation of the ball screw itself, as well as the displacement error of the worktable generated by the transmission chain after the ball screw pair. The difference in feedback signal measurement between a fully closed loop system and a semi closed loop system can significantly affect the actual control effect. Therefore, in engineering, a fully closed loop system and a semi closed loop system are sometimes considered two different types. However, since we will only analyze the working principles of open-loop and closed-loop systems theoretically below, we will no longer emphasize the difference between fully closed-loop systems and semi closed-loop systems.
